Orion Innovations is able to deploy a number of bespoke, tried and tested tools, such as its ‘Business Heath Check’, in order to help customers realise their objectives.
Eco-innovation experiences
Recent Orion Innovations’ eco-innovation experience includes the following:- Preparation of a feasibility study for a low carbon business cluster in the North East of England resulting in the development of a strategic and operational plan;
- Provision of commercialisation support services to the Scottish Enterprise Energy Technology Centre, East Kilbride;
- A strategic review for the Carbon Trust’s national Low Carbon Technology Incubator Programme to identify opportunities for improvement of existing services and options for the future extension of services towards more mature ‘growth phase’ companies;
- Provision of Outcome Managers for the Scottish Enterprise Proof of Concept Programme (a renewable energy cluster), providing mentoring support to the project teams, helping to shape and deliver the technology commercialisation plans, providing industry-specialist input, and identifying potential sources of funding and/or industrial partnerships;
Definition of a growth strategy for TUV NEL Ltd, a leading engineering consultancy and centre of excellence for engineering and mechanical research. The objective for this project was to identify significant growth options for TUV NEL within the low carbon sector that built upon the company’s existing capabilities and customer base.

Based in the UK, with representation in London, Edinburgh, the South of France, and South Africa. Able to offer services throughout the English-speaking world.
