ETFE-MFM at the European Research Conference: Buildings

The ETFE-MFM Project will hold a workshop at the European Research Conference: Buildings during the World Sustainable Energy Days, to be held in Wels, Austria on 1 March 2017. The workshop will cover innovative uses of ETFE as a construction material, and present the development of a new ETFE Multifunctional Module, with integrated solar PV and LEDs for sustainable façade lighting.

The agenda will cover:

  • Textile-based architecture - Karsten Moritz (Taiyo Europe, Germany)
  • Different active and passive building strategies - Juan Ramón de las Cuevas (Acciona, Spain)
  • Building-integrated PV in architectural textiles - Ana Rosa Lagunas Alonso (CENER, Spain)
  • Development & demonstration of flexible multifunctional ETFE modules - Armando Menendez (ITMA, Spain)

The conference presents new research results on energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. Conference topics include novel materials, energy storage, building energy systems, smart buildings, high performance buildings, deep renovation, renewable energy and indoor air quality.

The European Research Conference: Buildings is part of the European Energy Efficiency Conference. Six conference tracks and three interactive events will cover policies, markets, business models, research & innovation, technologies, financing and best practice solutions.

Fees: 100 Euro (plus 10 % VAT) for the European Research Conference: Buildings. Participation in this conference is also included in the fee of the European Energy Efficiency Conference (300 Euro, includes 6 conferences and 3 interactive events).
