Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference - Delivering on the Circular Economy, What's Next?

20-21 February 2018, Brussels

Two years after the adoption of EU Circular Economy Package in December 2015, more than half of the initiatives included in the Action Plan have been delivered. To discuss upcoming deliverables, explore new areas of action and share the first achievements of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform, the Commission and the European Economic and Social Committee will host a Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference on 20-21 February in Brussels.

Textile-based Architecture - Exploring the state of the art

ETFE (Ethylene TetraFluoroEthylene) is regarded as a wonder material, with numerous economic and environmental benefits over traditional building materials. However, awareness of ETFE and its uses among architects and students remains low.

To counter this, the ETFE Multifunction Module (ETFE-MFM) project has designed a training lecture to give an introduction to textile-based architecture, and ETFE in particular.

INNOVATE 2017

INNOVATE 2017 is the UK’s flagship annual innovation conference and exhibition, this year being held in the UK’s second city, Birmingham. Just one hour by train from central London and with two international airports, Birmingham and its surrounding region are home to R&D for global businesses such as Jaguar LandRover, Rolls- Royce, JCB, Unilver, GKN, Pepsico, IBM, Mondelez, Carillion as well as five Catapult centres and 27 universities.

Horizon 2020 Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency & Raw Materials InfoDay 2017

8-9 November, Brussels

Information Day and brokerage event on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-2020, Challenge "Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency & Raw Materials", will take place on 8 and 9 November 2017 in Brussels in the European Commission's Charlemagne building, rue de la Loi 170.

The event targets potential applicants to the 2018-2020 calls for project proposals under the Horizon 2020 Challenge 5 "Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials" 

Horizon 2020 Energy InfoDays 2017

This year the Energy Information Days will present the new funding opportunities and innovative schemes offered by Horizon 2020’s Work Programme 2018-2020. Applying for funding is a competitive process, and only the best project proposals will be selected.
