International Seminar: Biogas, more than an opportunity for the European Regions!
Date: 30th June
Venue: Albert Hall Complex, Chaussée de Wavre 649-651, 1040 Brussels
Time: 8:30 - 13:00
The Greenovate-member LEV (www.lev.at ) from Graz, Austria, is involved in an international seminar on Biogas Production, which is jointly held with the European Bioenergy Conference in Brussels.
You are all welcome and as well invited to direct this invitation to your contacts. The participation is free of charge. You may register at www.fedarene.org/publications/Projects/BIOGAS/Biogas-Regions_Registration.htm
On the seminar:
The Biogas sector is growing rapidly and is certainly among the most promising ones; it will strongly contribute to the 20-20-20 targets defined by the European Union. The mobilisation of positive synergies between the different sectors (local authorities, farmers and food processing industries) and their concrete project implication will increase biogas plants realisation. Biogas Regions chose the territorial approach facilitating partnerships between the different sectors and the elaboration of a strategic road map in each region in order to overcome the obstacles and create a biogas friendly environment.
After a session on the EU regulatory frame and potential of the biogas production, a session on how biogas could benefit to the agricultural and the agri-food industry sectors will follow; and finally a session dedicated to the Biogas from the strategy to the concrete implementation at regional level.
