The workshop will provide information on the newest forms of innovation support - European Innovation Platforms - developed under the Europe INNOVA initiative of the European Commission (DG Enterprise & Industry). It will present the new Eco-innovation-IP to be launched in mid-2009 as well as the first results of the KIS-PIMS project under the Knowledge-Intensive Services-IP. This project aims to accelerate cost-driven innovation in the Planning, Installation, Maintenance and Scrap (PIMS) services for renewable energy production systems by designing and implementing a new funding scheme for innovative service companies.
The workshop is of interest to innovation, energy and regional development agencies, cluster organisations, business support providers, innovation practitioners and policy makers.
