ProNano, an FP7 (NMP) Coordination and support action, aims at validating new practices to remove the major barriers that prevent results of nanotechnology research projects from reaching market applications. Managed by experienced innovation consultant firms and venture capitalist from several European countries, and involving European and national nanotechnology networks and platforms, ProNano promotes existing results of scientific research projects available in EU research centres that have not yet been exploited, through assistance to entrepreneurial teams connected to such research work.

Within ProNano, consultancy and coaching services are offered by the participating consulting partners, based on an efficient approach starting from an technology assessment and market analysis, followed by the development of a business model, a concept for market implementation and includes also the development related financial plans.
