Green Paper and Consultation on EU research and innovation funding

The Commission published the Green Paper entitled “From challenges to opportunities: towards a common strategic framework for EU research and innovation funding” on February 9th 2011.
The Green Paper is officially kick starting the debate on how the post 2013 period budget for the EU is going to be shaped. The Commission is also launching a public consultation, and is inviting relevant stakeholders to contribute to the discussions.
The public consultation is open until May 20th 2011, and can be found here .
In June 2011, the Commission will also invite stakeholders to a conference in Brussels to discuss the consultation outcome.
