France Innovation Scientifique et Transfert (FIST)
FIST S.A. is the Technology Transfer Office of the CNRS (Centre National de Recherche Scientifique), in charge of the management of CNRS patent portfolio (~3200 patent families). As such, we process 300 new patents each year and negotiate 100 licence agreements per year.
FIST S.A. is also engaged in technology studies and foresight exercises in selected industrial areas through its patent landscaping activities (IP Overview) for both institutional and industrial clients, thus covering a wide spectrum of scientific areas.
FIST’s parent organisation CNRS is the largest French government research institute, with 11,600 researchers and a €3.3bln research budget.

FIST S.A. has already conducted studies in the following fields: green solvants, effluent depollution, power components, photovoltaic cells, batteries and hydrogen storage.
Geographical area covered
Europe mainly but also United States and Asia through distribution agreement.
