Biorefinery Joint Call - deadline: 2nd December 2008
DG Research and DG Transport and Energy also jointly launched a fourth energy-related call for proposals: the so called “Biorefinery Joint Call”. The strong cross thematic approach of the call is also reflected in its 57 million Euro budget coming from four different Themes of the FP7 specific programme “Cooperation”, namely Food & Biotechnologies, Nanosciences & new production technologies, Energy and Environment.The Biorefinery Joint Call, open until 2nd December 2008, will be implemented through two topics:
- "Sustainable Biorefineries", targeted at the funding of a limited number of large, multi-disciplinary, collaborative projects addressing bio-products, bio-energy, sustainability and technical and economical viability;
- "Enhancing exchange of information, synergies and cross-fertilization between projects in the field of Biorefineries", to promote coordination of on-going research at European and national levels.
Please find full details of calls on CORDIS
A series of other calls belonging to the CAPACITIES part of FP7 launched on that same date are of interest, notably "research for SMEs" and "regions of knowledge".
